Mayor Love reconvened the Recessed Special Meeting of ROLL CALL
Wednesday, November 3, 1976 at 7:00 p.m. All members
of the Council were present.
The Special Meeting of November 3, 1976 was reconvened PURPOSE OF
this date because we had been advised by Mrs. Jackie MEETING
Winchester, Supervisor of Elections, that the absentee
ballot count for the Villages Bond Election held on
November 2, 1976 would be available and therefore the
Council could certify the returns of that election.
However, the Council was unable to certify the returns CERTIFICATION
of the Bond Election because the absentee ballot count OF ABSENTEE
had not been certified by the State of .Florida, and BALLOTS NOT
until such certification is received the Council cannot RECEIVED FRQ~1
canvass the vote of November 2, 1976. THE STATE
Therefore, on motion of Vice Mayor Marks, seconded by RECESS
Councilman Moore, all present voting aye, the meeting
was recessed at 7:05 p.m. until Wednesday, November
24, 1976 at 7:15 p.m.
