Vice Mayor McIntyre called the Public Hearing to order ROLL-CALL
at 7:20 p.m. All members of the Council were present.
The purpose of this Public Hearing is to hear the PURPOSE OF
corrunents of the public concerning the operation of PIIBLIC HEAR-
businesses in residential zones within the Village ING
of North Palm Beach. The particular home occupation
to which the Council is addressing itself this evening
i.s the instruction of diving by Mrs. Roy Athey at her
home at 6~F3 Pilot Road, North PaLn Beach, Florida.
Legal notice of this Public Hearing was published in LEGAL NOTICE
the WeekDay Newspaper on June 16, 1976. PUBLISHED

In addition, a letter of opposition was read by Mr. Nicoletti
from Mr. Frank A. Ternlund, 637 Pilot Road, North Palm
Beach, Florida.
The correspondence the Village Council received on this
matter indicated that there were seventeen Village residents
in favor of Mrs. Athey conducting diving instructions at
her home and forty three Village residents opposed (which
included a petition circulated by Mrs. Ternlund).
There being no further business to come before the
Council at this Public Hearing, on motion of Councilman
Love, seconded by Councilman Marks, all present voting
aye, the Public Hearing was adjourned at 8:28 p.m.
