OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30, 1975
Present: M. C. Love, Jr., Mayor
Ronald L. Heraty, Vice-Mayor
i William A. Greeley, Councilman
& Acting Village Manager
Dr. V. A. Marks, Councilman
Mervin H. McIntyre, Councilman
Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk
Mayor Love called the Special Meeting to order at 7:35
p.m. All members of the Council were present.
The purpose of this Special Meeting is to appoint a
Village Treasurer or employ Callaway, Carpenter, May
and Company to close out the books for fiscal 1974-75.
This Special Meeting was held this date because the
business at hand could not be held over until the next
Regular Meeting of the Village Council on Thursday,
November 13, 1975.
Councilman McIntyre moved that we employ our CPA firm
to close out the books for us for the fiscal year 1974-75.
' The motion was seconded by Councilman Marks and failed
3 to 2, with Mayor Love, Vice Mayor Heraty and Councilman
Greeley opposed.
Councilman Greeley moved that we appoint Gary C. Thomas
as Treasurer of the Village of North Palm Beach. The
motion was seconded by Vice Mayor Heraty and passed 3
to 2, with Councilman Marks and Councilman McIntyre opposed.
There being no further business to come before the Council
at this Special Meeting, on motion of Vice Mayor Heraty,
seconded by Councilman Greeley, all present voting aye,
the meeting was adjourned at 7:45 p.m.
