05-24-1973 VC REG-MI I MINUTES OF REGULAR MEETING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, MAY 24, 1973 ' Present: H. Malloryl,Privett, Jr:, Mayor -- Walter N. Colbath, Jr.~ Councilman Robert W. Martin, Councilman Robert F. Slater, Councilman Herbert. L.',Gildan, Village Attorney Lawrence J.' Robbins, Village Manager, Acting as Deputy Village Clerk Absent: Ronald B. Cadby, Vice Mayor Mayor Privett called the Regular Meeting tollorder at ROLL CALL 8:00 p.m. All members o£ the Council were present except Vice Mayor Cadby. Mayor Privett gave the invocation and Councilman Colbath INVOCATION & led the Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance- PLEDGE OF to the Flag. I ALLEGIANCE On motion of Councilman Colbath, seconded by Councilman APPROVAL OF Martin, all present voting aye, the minutes'lof Regular MINUTES Meeting held Thursday, May 10, 1973 were approved as written. Country Club Board of Governors held May 9, 1973 On motion of Councilman Colbath, seconded by,Councilman BILL 180 Martin, all present voting aye, Bill No. 180ientitled: PLACED ON ' 1ST READING AN ORDINANCE OF TIC VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 11 OF THE NORTH PALM BEACH CODE BY PERMITTING PIERS FOR COMMERCIAL MARINAS TO EXTEND WATERSIDE OF BULKHEADS OR LAND A DISTANCE NOT TO EXCEED FIFTY-FIVE FEET, AND SETTING FORTH RESTRICTIONS THEREON was placed on first reading and read in full. Minutes of Regular Meeting Held Thursday, May 24, 1973 Page 2 I~ i. 1 On motion of Councilman Colbath, seconded by Councilman Martin, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No. 26-73 entitled: A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OFNORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING MEMBER~TO THE VILLAGE BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No. 26-73. On motion of Councilman Colbath, seconded by; Councilman Martin, all present voting aye, that the bid for-one Radar Unit be awarded to Kustom Radar in an ;amount not to exceed $1,295.00. Mr. Robbins, Village Manager, advised the there was only one source for a pump which the irrigation pump installation and that Johnston Pump Company.
