Mayor Privett called the Regular Meeting to order at ROLL CALL
8:02 p.m. All members of the Council were; present.
Councilman Martin gave the invocation, and; Councilman INVOCATION &
Slater led the Council-and the public in the Pledge PLEDGE OF
of Allegiance to the Flag. ALLEGIANCE

On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by~Councilman
APPROVAL OF
Martin, all present voting aye, the minute's of Regular MINUTES
Meeting held Thursday, June 14, 1973 were approved as
written.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by~Councilman ACCEPTANCE OF

FLORIDA, RELATING TO ABANDONED, WRECKED, JUNKED,
AND DISMANTLED MOTOR VEHICLES, BOATS,~TRAILERS,
MACHINERY, APPLIANCES, PLUMBING FIXTURES, OR
SIMILAR ARTICLES; PROHIBITING THE STORAGE, REPAIR
'
OR DISMANTLING THEREOF ON PUBLIC OR PRIVATE PROPERTY;
DECLARING THE SAME TO BE A NUISANCE; PROVIDING FOR
THE ABATEMENT OF SUCH NUISANCES; AND PROVIDING
PENALTIES FOR THE VIOLATION OF THIS Ol~DINANCE
was placed on second reading and read by title alone.

On motion of Councilman Colbath, seconded by Vice Mayor,
Cadby, all present voting aye, Bill No. 182 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 4 OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH CODE, BY SETTING FORTH A
MINIMUM COST FOR RETRIEVING A DOG OR CAT FROM
IMPOUNDMENT, AND BY CHANGING THE TIME ,DURING WHICH
AN ANIMAL MAY BE IMPOUNDED UNDER MUNICIPAL AUSPICES
TO FORTY-EIGHT HOURS
was placed on second reading and read by-title alone.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by ,Councilman
Colbath, all present voting aye, Bill No. T82 was
adopted as Ordinance No. 8-73.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by,Councilma
Colbath, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution
No. 27-73 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OIi NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING MEMBER TO THE
VILLAGE RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD TO FILL THE
UNEXPIRED TERM OF WILLIAM YOUNG, WHO R$SIGNED

was read in full and. adopted as read as Resolution
No. 27-73.
On motion of Councilman Colbath, seconded by Council-
man Slater, all present voting aye, that we; adopt the
recommendation of the Board of Governors with regard
to Mr. & Mrs. H. A. Forsberg and terminate their
membership as of July 1, 1973.
There being no further business to come before
the Council, on motion of Councilman Colbat~,
seconded by Councilman Slater, all present noting
aye, the meeting was adjourned at 10:30 p.m.
