A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING BLANKET PURCHASE
ORDERS FOR THE VILLAGE'S ENERGY CONSERVATION RETROFIT
PROJECT WITH CITY ELECTRIC SUPPLY, SAFETY -KLEEN SYSTEMS, INC.,
THE HOME DEPOT AND LOWE'S HOME IMPROVEMENT; AUTHORIZING
AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO AMEND THE
CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND BUDGET TO TRANSFER $30,000.00 FROM
THE CAPITAL RESERVE ACCOUNT TO THE FACILITY SERVICES —
CONSTRUCTION AND MAJOR RENOVATION CAPITAL ACCOUNT TO
FUND THE BLANKET PURCHASE ORDERS; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Administration is requesting the issuance of blanket purchase orders to
implement phase two of the Village's Energy Conservation Retrofit Project; and
WHEREAS, the Village's Purchasing Policies and Procedures provide that blanket purchase
orders in excess of $10,000 require approval by the Village Council; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration recommends the issuance of blanket purchase orders to
City Electric Supply ($25,000.00), Safety - Kleen Systems, Inc. ($2,000.00); The Home Depot ($1,500.00)
and Lowe's Home Improvement ($1,500.00); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council seeks to amend the current capital projects fund budget to
transfer $30,000.00 from the Capital Reserve Account to the Facility Services — Construction and
Major Renovation Account to fund these purchase orders; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the issuance of blanket purchase orders to:
City Electric Supply in an amount not to exceed $25,000.00; Safety - Kleen, Inc. in an amount
not to exceed $2,000.00; The Home Depot in the amount not to exceed $1,500.00; and
Lowe's Home Improvement in an amount not to exceed $1,500.00 for phase two of the Village's
Energy Conservation Retrofit Project, with funds expended from Account No. K5519 -66210
(Facility Services — Construction and Major Renovation).
Section 3. In order to fund these expenditures, the Village Council hereby approves a budget
amendment for the transfer of funds as indicated below:

Section 4. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
budget amendment for and on behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 5. All resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are hereby repealed to the extent of
such conflict.
Section 6. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
