VILLAGE COUNCIL OF
OF PUBLIC HEARING
OF THE
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 5, 1972
Present: H. Mallory Privett, Jr., Mayor-
Ronald B. Cadby, Vice Mayor
Robert W. Martin, Councilman
Thomas B. Rhodes, Councilman
Robert F. Slater, Councilman
Lawrence J. Robbins, Village Manager,
Acting as Deputy Village Clerk
Mayor Privett called the Public Hearing to order at 8:08 ROLL CALL
p.m. and asked the Deputy Village. Clerk to call the roll,
all members being present.
The purpose of the Public Hearing was to review and PURPOSE OF
answer all questions concerning the proposed Village PUBLIC
budget and the proposed North Palm Beach Country Club HEARING
budget for fiscal year 1972-73.
Through the use of a Vue-Graph machine, departmental QUESTIONS
recap information on the proposed North Palm. Beach Country POSED &
Club budget was provided on a screen for viewing by those ANSWERED ON
residents in attendance. For the information of the PROPOSED
public, Mayor Privett recapped each department and the NPBCC
' categories of the expenditures reflected. In all in- BUDGET
stances where questions were raised concerning the
proposed North Palm Beach Country Club budget, re-
sponses were made by the Mayor or the Village Manager.
Mayor Privett then recapped the proposed Village budget QUESTIONS
in the same manner as the proposed North Palm Beach POSED &
Country Club budget for the benefit of the public. ANSWERED
Responses to questions raised were answered by the Mayor ON PROPOSED
or the Village Manager. VILLAGE
BUDGET
There being no further business to come before the ADJOURNMENT
Council at this Public Hearing, on motion of. Councilman
Rhodes, seconded by Vice Mayor Cadby, all present voting
aye, the Public Hearing was adjourned at 10:25 p.m.
