THURSDAY, OCTOBER 26, 1972

Mayor Privett called the Regular Meeting to order at 8:05 p.m. ROLL CALL
and asked the Clerk to call the roll, all members being
present except Councilman Slater, who arrived at 8:10 p.m:
Councilman Martin gave the invocation and Mayor Privett
led the Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance
to the Flag.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, the minutes of Public
Hearing on Bill No. 168 held Thursday, October 12, 1972
were approved as written.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, the minutes of Regular
Meeting held Thursday, October 12, 1972 were approved as
written.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, the following minutes were
accepted by the Council:

On motion of Councilman Martin, seconded by Councilman
Rhodes, all present voting aye, Bill No. 172 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH
CODE BY ADDING THERETO CHAPTER 30, AUTHORIZING
THE STORING OF CERTAIN RECREATIONAL BOATING AND
CAMPING EQUIPMENT IN SINGLE FAMILY AND DUPLEX
RESIDENTIAL DISTRICTS, AND SETTING FORTH CONDITIONS

The meeting recessed at 10:10 p.m. and reconvened at ---

all present voting aye, Bill No. 174 entitled:

AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING PORTIONS OF ORDINANCE N0. 18-71, CONCERNING
DETAILED APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1971-72

was placed on second reading and read by title alone.
Vice Mayor Cadby moved that Bill No. 174 be.adopted as
Ordinance No. 25-72. The motion was seconded by Councilman
Rhodes.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Rhodes, all present voting aye, that Bill Nd. 174 be
amended by substituting far the original exhibits those
exhibits now attached to the ordinance.
Thereafter, Council voted on the main motion which passed
unanimously. Therefore, Bill No. 174 was adopted as
amended as Ordinance No. 25-72.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No.

LEASE OF GOLF CARTS AT THE NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY

On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Rhodes, all present voting aye, that a special category
of membership be_created at the North Palm Beach Country
Club for swim team members only, who may use the pool
during swim team practice hours for the swim team to which
that member belongs for the months of November 1972 through
May 1973 at a total cost of $50,00 £or that period.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, that we authorize the
Village Manager to issue a purchase order to Monroe
Calculator Company for a Monroe Model 1320 in an amount
not to exceed $574.05.
There being no further business to come before the
Council, on motion of Councilman Rhodes, seconded by
Councilman Martin, all present voting aye, the meeting
was adjourned at 11:20 p.m.
