Mayor Privett Balled the Regular Meeting to order ROLL CALL
at 8:07 p.m, and asked the Clerk to cal the roll,
all members-being present except Vice-Mayor Cadby.
Councilman Rhodes gave the invocation and Councilman INVOCATION &
Martin lid the Council and the public-in the Pledge PLEDGE OF
o£ Allegiance to 'the Flag. ALLEGIANCE
On motion of Councilman Martin, seconded by Council- APPROVAL OF _
man Rhodes, all present voting aye, the minutes o£ MINUTES
Regular Meeting held Thursday, May 25, 1972 were
approved as written. -
On motion of Councilman Martin, seconded by Council- ACCEPTANCE OF
' man Rhodes, all present voting aye, the minutes o£ MINUTES
Beautification Committee meeting held May 24, 1972;
and the minutes of Community Appearance Board meeting _
held May 30, 1972 were accepted.
On motion of Councilman Slater, seconded by Council- .DONATION TO N0.
man Rhodes, a]1 present voting aye, that we authorize COUNTY DRUG ABUSE
from Account No. 16-236 the expenditure o£ $1,500.00 PROGRAM, INC.
to be donated to the North County Drug Abuse Program,
Inc.

BEACH CODE, IT BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
CODE, BY AMENDING THE NUMBER OF PARKING SPACES -
REQUIRED FOR RESTAURANTS IN C-A, C-lA, C-1 AND
C-2 ZONES, TO PROVIDE FOR ONE SPACE FOR EACH
75 SQUARE FEET OF AREA DEVOTED TO PATRON USE
OR ONE SPACE PER THREE FIXED SEATS, WHICHEVER
IS GREATER; PLUS ONE SPACE FOR EACH ONE AND _
ONE-HALF PROJECTED EMPLOYEES WHO WOULD BE
