Mayor Privett called the Public Hearing to order at ROLL CALL e_
7:35 p.m. and asked the Clerk to call the roll, all _
members being present except Vice-Mayor Cadby and
~,
Councilman Slater.
The purpose of the Public Hearing was to hear the PURPOSE OF
comments of the public with regard to Bill No. 155. PUBLIC HEARING
This bill modifies the parking requirements for
restaurants in the commercial areas of the Village-
of North Palm Beach.
Clerk read legal notice of this Public Hearing, LEGAL NOTICE
which was published in the Palm-Beach Post-Times READ
on May 21, 1972 and posted as required by Village
Charter.
Clerk read Bill No. 155 entitled: BILL 155 READ

AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 45 OF THE NORTH PALM
BEACH CODE, IT BEING THE COMPREHENSIVE ZONING
CODE, BY AMENDING THE NUMBER OF PARKING SPACES
REQUIRED FOR RESTAURANTS IN C-A, C-lA, C-1 AND
C-2 ZONES, TO PROVIDE FOR ONE SPACE FOR EACH 75
SQUARE FEET OF AREA DEVOTED TO PATRON USE OR ONE
SPACE PER THREE FIXED SEATS, WHICHEVER :IS GREATER,
PLUS ONE SPACE FOR EACH ONE AND ONE-HALF PROJECTED
EMPLOYEES WHO WOULD BE ACTUALLY WORKING DURING PEAK
EMPLOYMENT HOURS
in total.
Mayor Privett asked if there were any comments from the _
public or the Council on Bill No. 155 and there were
none.
There being no further business to come befoxe the ADJOURNMENT i -
Council at this Public Hearing, on motion of Council- _
man Martin, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, all present J
voting aye, the Public Hearing was adjourned at 7:45 _
p.m.
