Mayor Privett called the Regular Meeting to order at
9:05 p.m. and asked-the Clerk to call-the roll, all
members being present.
Mayor Privett gave-the invocation and Councilman Martin
led the Council and the public in the Pledge of Allegiance
to the Flag.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, the minutes of Regular
Meeting held Thursiiay; June 22,-1972 were approved as

written.
On motion of Vice. Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
' Rhodes, all present voting aye, that we drop all items
listed on the agenda under Petitions and Communications
until the end of the agenda.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, Bill No. 160 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OP NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 45 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH CODE, IT BEING THE ZONING CODE OF THE
VILLAGE, BY REPEALING SECTION 45-31(K), WHICH
REGULATED SIGNS IN THE C-A CONll"IERCTAr, DISTRICT
was placed on second reading and read in full.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, Bill No. 160 was
adopted as Ordinance No. 13-72.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, Bill No. 158. entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 34 OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH CODE BY AMENDING COMPLETELY THE
' CODE PROVISIONS CONCERNING SIGNS IN THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH
was placed on second reading and read by title alone.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Rhodes, all present voting aye, Bill No. 158 was adopted
as Ordinance No. 14-72.

650 FEET OF ANOTHER RESTAURANT IN THE VILLAGE

Mr. Luther Taylor read a letter dated July 10, 1972
from H. P. Collins and L. K. Collins, owners .of property
on U. S. Highway No. 1 in the Village, objecting to --
Bill No. 161. This letter was addressed to the Village Council.
Mrs. Rhoda Cole, the owner of vacant property, which would
be affected by the distance limitation on restaurants, _
objected to Bill No. 161.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman MOTION TO
Rhodes, all present voting aye, that we postpone setting POSTPONE

OFF-STREET PARKING REGULATIONS AND FLOOR AREA REGU-
LATIONS IN THE C-2 ZONING DISTRICT BY IMPOSING THE
REGULATIONS APPLICABLE IN ZONING DISTRICT C-1
