THURSDAY, JANUARY 13, 1972

Mayor Privett called the Public Hearing to order at
7:45 p.m. and asked the Clerk to call the roll, all
members being present.
The purpose of the Public Hearing was to hear comments
or questions from the public concerning Bill No.-142,
which was placed on first reading November 11, 1971.
Clerk read legal notice of this Public Hearing, which
was published in the Palm Beach Post on December 26,
1971 and posted as required by Village Charter.
Clerk read Bill No. 142 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 45-36 (G) OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH CODE BY REMOVING THE REQUIRE-
MENT FOR STANDBY EMERGENCY POWER IN COMMERCIAL
BUILDINGS BETWEEN TWO STORIES AND FOUR STORIES
IN HEIGHT
in total.
Mayor Privett asked if there were any comments or questions
from the public concerning this bill, and there were none.
Mayor Privett asked if there were any comments from the
Council on this bill, and there were none.
Mayor Privett proposed, and Council concurred, that
Bill No. 142 be placed on the agenda for this evening's
Regular Council Meeting under "Ordinances."
There being no further business to come before the
Council at this Public Hearing, on motion of Vice
Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, all
present voting aye, the Public Hearing was adjourned
at 7:55 p.m.
