Mayor Privett called the. Public_Hearing to order at ROLL CALL
8:09 p.m. and asked-the Clerk to`-call the roll, all
members being presenf.
The purpose of the~tblic Hearing was to hear statements PURPOSE OF
or questions from ths-public concerning Bill No_ 138, PUBLIC HEARI_NG
which was placed on first reading August 26, 1971.
Clerk read legal notice of this Public Hearing which LEGAL NOTICE
was published in the Palm Beach Post on September 5, _ READ
1971 and posted as required by Village Charter._
Clerk read Bill No. 138 entitled: BILL 138
READ IN TOTAL
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 45 OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH CODE BY PERMITTING DETACHED FENCE STORAGE
AREAS IN THE R-1 AND R-2 DWELLING DISTRICTS
in total.
Mayor Privett asked if there were any comments or questions NO COMMENTS
from the public concerning this bill, and there were none. FROM PUBLIC ON
BILL 138
Mayor Privett asked if there were any comments from COMMENTS FROM
the Council on this bill. Vice Mayor Cadby, Councilman COUNCIL ON
Rhodes and Councilman Slater were in favor of the bill, BILL 138
and Mayor Privett and Councilman Martin were opposed.
There being no further business to come before the Council ADJOURNMENT
at this Public Hearing, on motion of Vice Mayor Cadby,
seconded by Councilman Martin, all present voting aye,
the Public Hearing was ajourned at 8:13 p.m:
