Mayor Privet-t called the Regular Meeting to order at ROLL CALL
8:00 p.m. and asked the Clerk to call the roll, all
members being present except Councilman Slater.
Mayor Privett gave the invocation and Councilman INVOCATION &
Martin led the Council and the public in the Pledge of PLEDGE OF
Allegiance to the Flag. ALLEGIANCE
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman .10/14/71
Martin, all present voting aye, the minutes of Regular MINUTES
Meeting held Thursday, October 14, 1971 were approved APPROVED
as amended.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman 9/23/71 MIN.
Martin, all present voting aye, the minutes.of Board of OF-BD. OF GOV.
Governors Meeting held Wednesday, September 23; 191 MEETING
were accepted. ACCEPTED
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman
Ma-r-tin, all present voting aye, the financial state-
ment for the Village and the £inancial statement
for the North Palm Beach Country Club for the period
ending September 30, 1971 were accepted.

Rhodes, all present voting aye, Bill No. 140 entitled: PLACED ON
2ND READING
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING PORTIONS OF ORDINANCE N0.
219-70, CONCERNING DETAILED APPROPRIATLONS FOR
THE FISCAL YEAR 1970-71
was placed on second reading and read by title alone.
Vice Mayor Cadby made a motion to adopt Bi11,No. 140 MOTION TO
as Ordinance No. 19-71. The motion was seconded by ADOPT BILL
Councilman Martin. 140 AS ORD.

On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman BILL 140
Martin, all present voting aye, that Bill No. 140 be AMENDED
amended to attach new Exhibits 1 through 4 instead of
Exhibits 1 through 4 that were attached on first
reading.

Thereafter Council voted on the main motion which passed BILL 140
4 - 0. Therefore, Bill No. 140 was adopted as amended ADOPTED AS
as Ordinance No. 19-71 by unanimous vote of the Council_ AMENDED AS

On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman RES. 29-71
Martin, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution ADOPTED
No. 29-71 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE
CLERK TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT WITH PARGO, INC.
IN BEHALF OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH FOR
THE LEASE OF GOLF CARTS AT THE NORTH PALM BEACH
COUNTRY CLUB
was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No. 29-71.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman RES. 30-71
Rhodes, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution _ADOPTED
No. 30-71 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, SETTING SALARY FOR COUNTRY CLUB
MANAGER AT THREE THOUSAND ($3,000.00) DOLLARS
PER YEAR
was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution

On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman RES. 31-71
Martin, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution .ADOPTED
No. 31-71 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, DETERMINING THAT NO
SALARY INCREASES OR ADDITIONAL FRINGE BENEFITS
SHALL BE PROVIDED FOR ANY VILLAGE EMPLOYEES UNTIL
FURTHER COUNCIL ACTION HAS BEEN OFFICIALLY TAKEN

On motion of Councilman Rhodes, seconded by Councilman
Martin, all present voting aye, that we cancel the
Regular Council Meeting scheduled for November 25 due
to the fact that this is Thanksgiving Day.
There being no further business to come before the
Council, on motion of Councilman Rhodes, seconded by
Councilman Martin, all present voting aye, the meet-
ing was adjourned at 10:40 p.m.
