Mayor Privett called the Public Hearing to order at 7:02 ROLL CALL
p.m. and asked the Clerk to call the roll, all members being-
present except Councilman Slater.
There were no persons in the audience at this: time, so
Council by the following motion, recessed the, Public Hearing
at 7:04 p.m.
On motion of Vice Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman Rhodes, RECESS
all present voting aye, the Public Hearing was recessed until
such time as an adequate number-of people were present, but
no later than 7:30 p.m.
The Public Hearing was called back to order at 7:30 p.m. HEARING CALLED
Clerk again called the roll and all members, including Council- BACK TO ORDER
man Slater, were present.
Mayor Privett stated that the purpose of the Public Hearing PURPOSE OF _
was to hear statements or questions from the public re- PUBLIC HEARING
garding Bill No. 121, which was placed on first reading May
13, 1971.
Clerk read legal notice of this Public Hearing, which was
published in the Palm Beach Post on-May 23, 1971 and posted
as required by Village Charter.
Clerk read Bill No. 121 entitled:
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING CHAPTER 45 OF THE VILT~IGE-OF NORTH
PALM BEACH CODE BY DEFINING THE TERM "ACCESSORY
BUILDING" AND SETTING FORTH REGULATIONS CONCERNING
THE LOCATION OF ACCESSORY BUILDINGS

in total.
Mayor Privett asked if there were any comments or questions
.from the public regarding this bill, and there were none,
as no one from the public appeared for the hearing.
The Mayor-asked the Clerk to read the letter from C. R.
O'Meilia to L. J. Robbins, giving Mr. O'Meiliars comments
and recommendations on Bill No. 121.
The Mayor asked the Council if they had any comments on
Bill No. 121. Mayor Privett and Councilman Martin were
opposed; Vice Mayor Cadby and Councilman Rhodes were in
favor; and Councilman Slater made no comment on this bill.
There being no further business to come before the_Council
at this 'Public Hearing, on motion of Vice Mayor Cadby,
seconded by Councilman Martin, all present voting aye,
the Public Hearing was adjourned at 7:42 p.m.; _
