OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD
THURSDAY, APRIL 29, 1971
Present: H. Mallory Privett, Jr., Mayor
Ronald B. Cadby, Vice-Mayor
Robert W. Martin, Councilman
Thomas B. Rhodes, Councilman
Robert F. Slater, Councilman
Lawrence J. Robbins, Village Manager,
Acting as Deputy Village Clerk
Mayor Privett called the Special Meeting to order at ROLL CALL
10:30 p.m. and asked the Deputy Clerk to:call the roll,
all members being present.
The purpose of this Special Meeting is to appoint an PURPOSE OF
Acting Country Club Manager to take care.of the necessary MEETING
business of the North Palm Beach Country Club during
the infirmity of the General Manager; and it is deemed
to be an emergency because this could not be held over
for the ensuing two weeks until the next Regular Meeting
of the Village Council which will be held May 13, 1971.
On motion of Vice-Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman P. FINLAYSONTS
Rhodes, all present voting aye, the name of Peter NAME PLACED
Finlayson was placed on proposed Resolution No. 8-71. ON PROPOSED
RES. 8-71
On motion of Vice-Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman RES. 8-71
Martin, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution ADOPTED
No. 8-71 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL 'OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING AN ACTING COUNTRY CLUB --
MANAGER FOR THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY
CLUB TO ACT IN THE ABSENCE OF THE MANAGER
was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution
No. 8-71.
There being no further business to come before the ADJOURNMENT
Council at this Special Meeting, on motion of Council- ,__
man Rhodes, seconded by Vice-Mayor Cadby, all present
voting aye, the meeting was adjourned at 10:35 p.m.
