04-15-1971 VC PH-MMINUTES OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA HELD THURSDAY, APRIL 15, 1971 Present: H. Mallory Privett, Jr., Mayor - - Ronald B. Cadby, Vice-Mayor Robert W. Martin, Councilman Thomas B. Rhodes, Councilman Robert F. Slater, Councilman Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk !_ t Mayor Privett called the public hearing to order at ROLL CALL 7:36 p.m. and asked the Clerk to call the roll, all members being present. Mayor Privett stated that the purpose of this public_ PURPOSE OF hearing is to hold a hearing, informing the public and PUBLIC HEARING answering their questions on Bill No. 123, which calls for rezoning certain property recently annexed to the Village known as St. C1areTs Church. This bill will rezone the major portion of the property from R-1 to R-2. Clerk read legal notice of this public hearing, which LEGAL NOTICE was published in the Palm Beach Post on March 31, 1971 READ and posted as required by Village Charter.. Clerk read Bill No. 123 entitled: BILL 123 READ IN TOTAL AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH-PAIN BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 45-17 OF THE VILLAGE CODE BY REMOVING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM R-1 SINGLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT AND RECLASSIFYING SAID PROPERTY AS R-2 MULTIPLE FAMILY DWELLING DISTRICT; BY DIRECTING THE CLERK TO BRING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP UP TO DATE; BY PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OP ORDINANCES OR CODE PROVISIONS IN CONFLICT HEREWITH AND FOR OTHER PURPOSES in total. Mayor Privett asked if there were any questions from the NO COMMENTS FROM public regarding this bill, and there were. none. The PUBLIC OR COUNCIL Mayor then asked the Council if they had any comments ON BILL 123 ' that should be brought up at this public hearing, and there were none, There being no further business to come before the ADJOURNMENT Council at this public hearing, on motion of Vice- Mayor Cadby, seconded by Councilman Martin, all present voting aye, the public hearing was adjourned at 7:45 p.m. Minutes recorded by: Dolores R.
