Mayor Lewis called the Public Hearing to order at ROLL CALL
7:iF0 p.m. and asked the Village Manager, acting as
Deputy Village Clerk, to call the roll, all.members
being present.
The purpose oF_the Public Hearing was to hear the pros PURPOSE OF
and cons concerning Bill No. 86 entitled: PUBLIC HEARING
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE N0. 20, IT BEING THE
COMPREHENSIVE ZONING ORDINANCE OF SAID VILLAGE,
BY AMENDING THE DEFINITION OF "PHARMACY"

February 2, 1970 and posted as required by Village
Charter.
' Mayor Lewis indicated that the Chair would hear any
questions or statements concerning Bill No. 8fi.
The Chair recognized Mr. Louis Bi11s who presented a PRESENTATION OF
recap and dramatic demonstration of the responses to MR. BILLS
his questionnaire that had been mailed to numerous
residents. Mr. Bi11s indicated that from a total
of approximately 1300 letters, he received 279 cards
in favor of the drug store and £our cards against.
Mr. Bills is the land owner who petitioned for the
change in allowable usage in C-A zone.
