MINUTES OF SPECIAL EMERGENCY MEETING
OF THE
VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA
HELD
THURSDAY, DECEMBER 17, 1970
Present: 'T'homas R. Be11, Vice-Mayor
Ronald B. Cadby, Councilman
H. Mallory Privett, Jr., Councilman
Herbert A. Watt, Councilman
Herbert L. Gildan, Village Attorney
Lawrence J. Robbins, Village Manager,
Acting as Deputy Village Clerk
Absent: Thomas F. Lewis, Mayor --
Vice-Mayor Be11 called the Special Emergency Meeting to _ROLL CALL
order at 8:53 p.m. and asked the Deputy Village Clerk
to call the roll, all members being present except
Mayor Lewis.
The purpose of this Special Emergency Meeting was to PURPOSE
consider adoption of a Resolution authorizing the Mayor = OF MEETING
and Village Clerk 'to enter into a lease agreement be- ,
tween the Village of North Palm Beach and Peter Finlay- _
son, leasing the golf driving range at the, North Palm _
Beach Country Club.
This meeting was held this date because this lease
agreement would become effective January 2; 1971, and
there would be no Regular Meeting of the Council until
January 14, 1971.
On motion of Councilman Privett, seconded by Council-
man Watt, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution
No. 481-70 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM.
BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE
CLERK TO ENTER INTO A LEASE AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH AND PETER.FINLAYSON
LEASING THE GOLF DRIVING RANGE AT THE NORTH
PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB
was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No.
481-70.
There being no further business to come before the
Council at this Special Emergency Meeting, on motion
of Councilman Cadby, seconded by Councilman Watt, all
present voting aye, the meeting was adjourned at 8:57 p.m.

I hereby waive notice_of Special Emergency Meeting of, the Village
Council held Thursday, December 17, 1970, and consent that the
business conducted at that meeting be official without my having
been notified in advance of that meeting.
