Lawrence J. Robbins, Village Manager
Dolores R. Walker, Village Clerk
Mayor Lewis called the Special Meeting to order at 8:05 ROLL CALL
p.m. and asked the Clerk to call the roll, all members
being present.
Mayor Lewis stated that the purpose o£ this Special PURPOSE OF
Meeting was to consider the adoption of proposed MEETING
Resolution No. 463-70, which would appoint a Country
Club Manager and set forth his salary.at $15,500 per year.
Mayor Lewis stated that the reason this Special Meeting
had to be held at this time is because at the present
we have no Manager at the Country Club. The Acting
Country Club Manager resigned to accept other employ-
ment, and the Council feels that it is necessary to
adopt this proposed Resolution tonight rather than
waiting until a week from tonight so there is no
interim period when the Club will be without a Manager.
On motion of Vice-Mayor Bell, seconded by Councilman
Cadby, all present voting aye, proposed Resolution No.
463-70 entitled:
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL Of` NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT
OF JOHN DAVID HAYES AS MANAGER OF THE NORTH
PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB

was read in full and adopted as read as Resolution No.
463-70.

There being no further business to come before the ADJOURNMENT
Council at this Special Meeting, on motion of Vice-
Mayor Bell, seconded by Councilman Cadby, all present
voting aye, the meeting was adjourned at 8:10 p.m.
