A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE ISSUANCE OF A
CHANGE ORDER TO ENGENUITY GROUP, INC. FOR STORM DRAINAGE
SYSTEM DATA COLLECTION AND MAPPING SERVICES; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village has a continuing contract with Engenuity Group, Inc. to perform
engineering and related services as Village Engineer; and
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Resolution 2015 -17, the Village Council approved and
accepted a proposal from Engenuity Group, Inc. to perform data collection and mapping services
for the Village's storm water system at a total cost of $37,300.00; and
WHEREAS, the original proposal was based on an inventory of 325 structures, and the Village
subsequently discovered the existence of 117 additional structures; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to approve a change order in the amount of $8,775.00 to
account for these additional structures (at a discounted rate of $75.00 per structure) and
determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best interests of the residents and citizens
of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the issuance of a change order to the
original proposal from Engenuity Group, Inc. for data collection and mapping services for the
Village's storm water system at a total cost of $8,775.00, with funds expended from Account No.
A7321 -33190 (Streets and Grounds — Professional Services).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
