A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
DECLARING THE RESULTS OF THE GENERAL ELECTION HELD ON MARCH 11, 1997.
• WHEREAS, on the 11th day of March, 1997, a General Election was held in the Village of North
Palm Beach, for the purpose of electing Councilmen to the Village Council for Groups 2 and 4, and
WHEREAS, by due resolution the following named persons were appointed inspectors, clerks and
deputies of said election:
North Palm Beach Community Center -Precincts 34 and 53:

WHEREAS, on March 11, 1997, said inspectors, clerks and deputies, after taking and subscribing
their oaths in accordance with law, made their returns to the Village Council, which returns certified that
the total count of ballots cast, including absentee ballots, is 1,802 .
• For Villaoe Councilman, Group 2:
Manny Grinn 277 votes
Charles R. O'Meilia 1,444 votes
For Villaoe Councilman, Group 4:
V. A. Marks 832 votes
David Norris 920 votes
WHEREAS, the Village Council has duly canvassed the returns of said General Election and find
that the returns of the inspectors, clerks and deputies of said election are true and correct tabulations of
the votes cast;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council finds and declares that the following are the results of the
General Election for March 11, 1997:

Section 2. That the following candidates are hereby declared to be elected to the respective

Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon passage.
