ROLL CALL
Mayor Aubrey called the meeting to order at 8:08 p.m. All members of Council were present,
except Councilman Manuel, who passed away on February 21, 2015. All members of staff
were present.
ENERGY CONSERVATION RETROFIT PROJECT
Discussion was held concerning the issuance of blanket purchase orders to various vendors for
energy conservation products and supplies at a total cost of $30,000 for an energy conservation
retrofit project at Village Hall and the Library.
Public Works Director Brian Moree detailed how the Public Works Complex was retrofitted in
September 2013 with energy conservation measures including LED lighting, equipment timers,
and occupancy sensors. Mr. Moree advised that product performance and energy expenses were
tracked and assessed during fiscal year 2014. Mr. Moree detailed the savings in energy expenses
and maintenance labor expenses. Mr. Moree explained the scope of the current project and gave
a demonstration of the differences in LED lighting, depending on the product vendor. Mr. Moree
specified the goods and services to be provided utilizing blanket purchase orders.
