A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE SOLE SOURCE
PURCHASE OF LASERFICHE AVANTE SOFTWARE FROM MUNICIPAL
CODE CORPORATION; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Information Technology Department is requesting the purchase of Laserfiche
Avante software; and
WHREREAS, because the software is essentially an upgrade to and expansion of the Village's
existing Laserfiche document imaging and record search and retrieval system, Village
Administration recommends the purchase of the software as a sole source purchase; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing "whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby authorizes the sole source purchase of Laserfiche
Avante software from MCCi, a subsidiary of Municipal Code Corporation, at a total cost of
$61,797.20 (including support and maintenance for one year), with funds expended from
Account No. A5004 -33491 (Information Technology — Contractual Services).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
