A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF A BECSYS7 POOL CHEMICAL CONTROLLER FROM
COMMERCIAL ENERGY SPECIALISTS; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO AMEND THE CAPITAL
PROJECTS FUND BUDGET TO TRANSFER $12,941.00 FROM THE
CAPITAL RESERVE ACCOUNT TO THE RECREATION — MACHINERY
AND EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT TO FUND THE PURCHASE; PROVIDING
FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Administration is requesting the purchase of a new chemical control system
to replace the existing system; and
WHEREAS, based on written quotes received, Village Administration recommends the purchase
of a BECSys7 Pool Chemical Controller from Commercial Energy Specialists; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council seeks to amend the current capital projects fund budget to transfer
$12,941.00 from the Capital Reserve Account to the Recreation — Machinery and Equipment Account
to fund the purchase of the system; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of a BECSys7 Pool Chemical
Controller from Commercial Energy Specialists at a total cost of $12,940.54, with funds being
expended from Account No. K8051 -66490 (Recreation — Machinery and Equipment).
Section 3. In order to fund this expenditure, the Village Council hereby approves a budget
amendment for the transfer of funds as indicated below:

Section 4. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
budget amendment for and on behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 5. All resolutions or parts thereof in conflict with this Resolution are hereby repealed
to the extent of such conflict.
Section 6. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
