A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF ONE
2015 FORD F550 CREW CAB TRUCK FROM MIKE DAVIDSON FORD
UTILIZING PRICING ESTABLISHED BY A CITY OF TALLAHASSEE
CONTRACT; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND
VILLAGE CLERK TO AMEND THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND BUDGET
TO TRANSFER $51,639.00 FROM THE CAPITAL RESERVE ACCOUNT TO
THE STREETS AND GROUNDS — AUTOMOTIVE CAPITAL ACCOUNT;
DECLARING TWO EXISTING VEHICLES AS SURPLUS PROPERTY;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is requesting the purchase of one vehicle listed on the
five year Capital Improvement Plan ( "CIP ") utilizing CIP funds; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration recommends the purchase of one 2015 Ford F550 crew cab truck
from Mike Davidson Ford utilizing pricing established by City of Tallahassee Contract No. 2518; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council seeks to amend, the current capital projects fund budget to
transfer $51,639.00 from the Capital Reserve Account to the Streets and Grounds Division —
Automotive Capital Account to fund the purchase of this vehicle; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of one 2015 Ford F550 crew
cab truck from Mike Davidson Ford utilizing pricing established by City of Tallahassee Contract
No. 2518 for a total cost of $51,638.24, with funds expended from Account No. K7321 -66410
(Streets and Grounds — Automotive).
Section 3. In order to fund this expenditure, the Village Council hereby approves a budget
amendment for the transfer of funds as indicated below:

Section 4. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
budget amendment for and on behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 5. Upon delivery, acceptance and placement into service of the new vehicle, the
Village Council declares the following vehicles as surplus property and authorizes their disposal
in accordance with Village policies and procedures:

Section 6. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are hereby
repealed to extent of such conflict.
Section 7. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
