A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF THIRTY DELL LAPTOP COMPUTERS AND RELATED
EQUIPMENT PURSUANT TO PRICING ESTABLISHED BY STATE
CONTRACT; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Administration is requesting the purchase of radios necessitated by the
transition to the North County Dispatch Center; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration recommends the purchase of thirty (30) Dell laptop computers
and related equipment by using concurrent competitive purchasing with the Florida State
Contract No. 250-WSCA- I OACS (Miscellaneous IT Equipment); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of thirty (30) Dell laptop
computers and related equipment directly from Dell Computers by piggybacking Florida State
Contract No. 250 - WSCA -1 OACS (Miscellaneous IT Equipment). The total amount expended for
this purchase shall not exceed $29,222.40, with funds expended from Account No. A5711 -35111
(Police — Computer Supplies).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
