A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE
MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO AMEND THE FISCAL YEAR 2013 -2014
GENERAL FUND BUDGET TO TRANSFER UNUSED DEVELOPER FEES
FUNDS FROM THE GENERAL FUND TO THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND;
PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, during the Fiscal Year 2013 budgetary process, the Village Council set aside
$50,000 from the Recreation Developer Fees for the kiddie pool enhancement project; and
WHEREAS, the Village has expended $4,500.00 for engineering fees associated with the project; and
WHEREAS, because this project has been postponed, the Village Council wishes to set aside and
transfer the remaining funds from the General Fund to the Capital Projects Fund for future use; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the amendment of the General Fund Budget is
in the best interests of the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby
approve an amendment to the General Fund budget for transfer of amounts listed below:

Section 3. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
General Fund budget amendment for and on behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 4. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict herewith are hereby repealed to
the extent of such conflict.
Section 5. This resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
