A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, DECLARING ONE PIANO AS
SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING ITS DISPOSAL; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Administration is recommending the surplus of one piano that has been
operationally obsolete for several years; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council has the authority to dispose of surplus items of personal
property in any manner so long as it acts in good faith and in the best interests of the Village; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby declares the following item as surplus personal
property and authorizes its disposal in accordance with Village policies and procedures:
One Fisher piano (Asset #5699)
Section 3. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 11TH DAY OF SEPTEMBER, 2014.
