VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA

ROLL CALL
Mayor Aubrey called the meeting to order at 1:03 p.m. All members of Council were present.
All members of staff were present.
VILLAGE MANAGER PUBLIC INTERVIEWS
Mayor Aubrey explained the format of the meeting.
The following candidates for the position of Village Manager were present for interviews with
Council and the public:
James Drumm Gregory Dunham John Hixenbaugh James Kelly
RANKING OF VILLAGE MANAGER CANDIDATES
A motion was made by Councilman Bush, seconded by Councilman Manuel, and passed unanimously,
to select and rank candidates for the Village Manager position, and direct the Mayor and Village
Attorney to negotiate an Employment Agreement with the top - ranked candidate.
Discussion ensued regarding the selection process. It was determined that each council member
would vote for their first and second ranked candidate by straw ballot. By written ballot attached
to the minutes of record, James Kelly was ranked first and Gregory Dunham was ranked second.
Discussion was held regarding the candidates. Council members expressed that each candidate
was well qualified for the position.
A motion was made by Councilman Bush, seconded by Vice Mayor Gebbia, and passed
unanimously, to offer the position of Village Manager to Mr. Kelly.
Discussion took place regarding residency, salary, and other contract terms.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was adjourned at 2:08 p.m.
