A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING AN AMENDMENT TO
THE CONTRACT FOR GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE SERVICES WITH
INTERNATIONAL GOLF MAINTENANCE, INC. TO MODIFY THE SCOPE
OF WORK AND THE COMPENSATION AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
AND VILLAGE CLERK TO EXECUTE SAME; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, based on the proposals submitted in response to the Village's Request for Proposals, on
September 27, 2012, the Village entered into a Contract for Golf Course Maintenance Services with
International Golf Maintenance, Inc. ( "Contract "); and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 17 of the Contract, the Village wishes to modify the Scope
of Work and the Village and IGM have agreed to execute an Amendment to the Contract to provide
for such modification and an adjustment in the compensation paid to IGM by the Village; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the approval of the Amendment to the Contract is
in the best interests of the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the Amendment to the Contract for Golf
Course Maintenance Services with International Golf Maintenance, Inc., a copy of which is
attached hereto and incorporated herein, and authorizes the Mayor and Village Clerk to execute
the Amendment on behalf of the Village.
Section 3. All resolutions or parts of resolution in conflict with this Resolution are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 4. This Resolution shall be effective immediately upon adoption.

AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT FOR GOLF COURSE
MAINTENANCE SERVICES
THIS AMENDMENT is made as of the &_J day of Jovne , 2014, by and between
the VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, a municipal corporation organized and existing
under the laws of the State of Florida. hereinafter referred to as VILLAGE, and
INTERNATIONAL GOLF MAINTENANCE, INC., a Florida corporation, hereinafter referred
to as the CONTRACTOR.
WHEREAS, the VILLAGE and CONTRACTOR executed a Contract for Golf Course
Maintenance Service dated September 27, 2012 ( "Contract ") to provide all goods and services
necessary for the maintenance of the Golf Course and Country Club grounds; and
WHEREAS, Section 17(A) of the Contract provides that the VILLAGE reserves the right to
make changes to the scope of work upon notification to the CONTRACTOR, and upon such
notification, the CONTRACTOR shall provide an estimate for the increased or decreased
compensation based on such modification; and
WHEREAS, the VILLAGE and CONTRACTOR have agreed to a modification of the scope of
work and the compensation and wish to execute an Amendment to the Contract as required by
Section 17(C) of the Contract.
NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the promises and mutual covenants herein contained,
and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and sufficiency of which is hereby
acknowledged, the VILLAGE and CONTRACTOR agree as follows:
1. The Scope of Work identified in the RFP incorporated into the Contract is hereby
modified to add the maintenance of Bermuda Grass at the VILLAGE's athletic fields in
accordance with a proposal from CONTRACTOR dated June 18, 2014 ( "Proposal "), which is
incorporated herein by reference.
2. The monthly compensation paid by the VILLAGE shall increase as set forth in the
Proposal as follows:
July 2014 $8,113.00
August 2014 $6,525.00
September 2014 $6,499.00
3. All other provisions of the Contract, to the extent not expressly modified herein, shall
remain in full force and effect.

Dear Chuck:
Thank you for asking us to revisit our proposal for athletic field maintenance. We
appreciate your interest in IGM's maintenance services for these recreation facilities. We
have reviewed the resource requirements and removed the costs for maintaining the St
Augustine multi -use field at Anchorage Park. Based on our assessment, we were able to
reduce expenses by more than $800 in July, roughly $400 in August and roughly $350 in
September.
However, we're expecting the work to now begin at the beginning of July rather than June
15. Therefore, we were forced to move the Bermuda related chemical expense for June into
July which actually increased the July fees. I hope this makes sense and will be available
tomorrow morning after 10:00 to discuss if you have questions.
PROPOSAL
Areas to be serviced —
• Veterans Memorial Park
o Bermudagrass lawn
• Anchorage Park
o One softball field and one tee -ball field
• Osborne Park
o Two baseball fields
• Community Center
o Three and one -half acres multi -use Bermuda
IGM will provide the following services from July 1 to September 30, 2014 —
• Litter removal, mowing, string- trimming and blowing twice weekly
• Edging between turf and clay twice monthly
• One aeration
• Irrigation scheduling
• Monthly fertilization at one pound of Nitrogen
• Pest control treatments
• Non - selective (Round -Up) ongoing along fences
• Two applications of Tribute Total broad spectrum herbicide to all
Bermudagrass
• One application of Ronstar pre- emergent herbicide to all turf areas
• One application of Topchoice insecticide
• One application of Talstar insecticide
