2006-03 Non-Profit Group Rate for Golf Events ORDINANCE 2006-03
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING THE 2005-2006 NORTH PALM BEACH COUNTRY CLUB BUDGET ADDING A
FIXED YEAR-ROUND $35 AFTERNOON SPECIAL RATE FOR "GROUP PLAY" GOLF
EVENTS OF NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS SUBJECT TO EVENT APPROVAL OF THE
COUNTRY CLUB ADVISORY BOARD.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The 2005-2006 Country Club Enterprise Fund Budget, as adopted by Ordinance No.
20-2005, the budget Ordinance of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, is hereby amended to
implement golf course green fees of $12 and cart fee of $23 for a total fee of $35 for non-profit group
play events approved by the Country Club Advisory Board.
Section 2. The total fee of $35 shall include a $5 golf shop credit.
Section 3. Requests for group play events shall be submitted to the Country Club Director and
are subject to the approval or rejection of the Country Club Advisory Board.
Section 4. Non profit group play events shall commence during times of the Club's "afternoon
special".
Section 5. The Village Administration shall establish administrative procedures providing for the
receipt of progressive deposits on all approved "group events" at the golf club and also provide for
forfeiture of deposits if cancellation occurs less than 10 days before the scheduled event.
Section 6. The Village Administration is hereby authorized and duected to take all necessary
and appropriate actions to effect this change.
Section 7. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
