ROLL CALL
Mayor Manuel called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. All members of Council were present.
All members of staff were present, except the Village Attorney. Erin St. Onge - Carpenter, Senior
Research Consultant with Bendixen & Amandi International, the Village's Market Analysis
Consultant, was present.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the results of the market research project, and to
address any follow up questions from the Council regarding specific areas of interest.
Ms. St. Onge - Carpenter gave a brief recap of the project, discussed information discovered
during the four focus group meetings, and offered recommendations and suggestions.
Discussion was held concerning these topics:
North Palm Beach Country Club
Country Club Restaurant
U.S. Highway 1 business corridor
Communication with residents
Demographics
Garbage collection
Parks
A request was made for additional data on the median age of residents. Ms. St. Onge - Carpenter
will review census data for any trends.
Council will hold a Special Workshop meeting the last week in March for further discussion of
the results of the market research project, consultant recommendations, and the projects or
actions Council wants to pursue.
ADJOURNMENT
With no further business to come before the Council, the meeting was adjourned at 9:02 p.m.
