2014-03 Declaring One Lawn Mower as Surplus PropertyRESOLUTION 2014 -03
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, DECLARING ONE LAWN MOWER
AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORIZING ITS DISPOSAL; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Administration is recommending the surplus of one 2006 Dixie Chopper
Lawn Mower that has been operationally obsolete for a number of years; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council has the authority to dispose of surplus items of personal
property in any manner so long as it acts in good faith and in the best interests of the Village; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby declares the following item as surplus personal
property and authorizes its disposal in accordance with Village policies and procedures:
One (1) 2006 Dixie Chopper Lawn Mower (Serial No. 6059736)
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon adoption.
