A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, APPROVING THE SOLE SOURCE
PURCHASE OF SEVEN ADDITIONAL BENCHES FOR VETERANS
MEMORIAL PARK FROM REP SERVICES, INC.; AND PROVIDING FOR
AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Community Development Department is requesting the purchase of seven (7)
additional benches for Veterans Memorial Park; and
WHEREAS, in order to provide an exact match with the existing seven (7) benches provided for
in the contract for construction of the Park, Village Administration recommends the purchase of
the benches from the same supplier utilized by the contractor as a sole source; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing "whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby authorizes the sole source purchase of seven (7) six foot
arch back garden benches from REP Services, Inc. at a total cost of $10,909.65, with funds expended
from Village Account No. A8028 -33162 (Veterans Memorial Park Donation Expense Account).
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
