A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF ONE BOBCAT SKID STEER LOADER FOR USE BY THE
1 PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT PURSUANT TO THE FLORIDA
ASSOCIATION OF SHERIFF'S CONTRACT FOR OFF -ROAD UTILITIES;
AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK
TO AMEND THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND BUDGET TO TRANSFER
$33,761.00 FROM THE CAPITAL RESERVE ACCOUNT TO THE STREETS
AND GROUNDS MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT TO FUND
THE PURCHASE; DECLARING THE EXISTING CASE TRACTOR AS
SURPLUS PROPERTY; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department is requesting the purchase of a Skid Steer Loader for
use by the Streets and Grounds Division utilizing Capital Improvement Plan funds; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration recommends the purchase of one Bobcat S570 Diesel Skid
Steer Loader from Bobcat Company pursuant to Florida Sheriff's Association Contract No. 13-
11 -0904 (Off -Road Utilities, Medium/Heavy Trucks and Other Fleet Equipment); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council seeks to amend the current capital projects fund budget to
transfer $33,761.00 from the Capital Reserve Account to the Streets and Grounds Machinery and
Equipment Capital Account to fund the purchase of the equipment; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of one Bobcat 5570 Diesel
Skid Steer Loader from Bobcat Company pursuant to Florida Sheriff's Association Contract No.
13 -11 -0904 (Off -Road Utilities, Medium/Heavy Trucks and Other Fleet Equipment). The total
amount expended for this equipment shall not exceed $33,760.10, with funds being expended
from Account No. K7321 -66490 (Streets and Grounds — Machinery and Equipment).
Section 3. In order to fund this expenditure, the Village Council hereby approves a budget
amendment for the transfer of funds as indicated below:

Section 4. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
budget amendment for and on behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 5. The Village Council declares the existing Case Tractor utilized by the Public
Works Department as surplus property and authorizes its disposal in accordance with Village
policy.
Section 6. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
