A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE
OF TWO SETS OF TELESCOPIC BLEACHERS FOR THE COMMUNITY CENTER
FROM HUSSEY SEATING COMPANY THROUGH SOUTHEASTERN SURFACES
AND EQUIPMENT, INC. PURSUANT TO THE STATE TERM CONTRACT FOR
EDUCATIONAL/INSTITUTIONAL FURNITURE; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING
THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO AMEND THE CAPITAL PROJECTS
FUND BUDGET TO TRANSFER $38,652.00 FROM THE CAPITAL RESERVE
ACCOUNT TO THE RECREATION DEPARTMENT MACHINERY AND
EQUIPMENT CAPITAL ACCOUNT TO FUND THE PURCHASE; DECLARING
THE EXISTING COMMUNITY CENTER BLEACHERS SURPLUS PROPERTY;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Department is requesting the purchase of two sets of telescopic
bleachers for the Village's Community Center Gymnasium utilizing Capital Improvement Plan
( "CIP ") funds; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration recommends the purchase of two sets of telescopic bleachers
pursuant to State Term Contract No. 420 - 420 -10 -1 (Educational /Institutional Furniture); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council seeks to amend the current capital projects fund budget to transfer
$38,652.00 from the Capital Reserve Account to the Recreation Department Machinery and Equipment
Capital Account to fund the purchase of the bleachers; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best interests
of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of two sets of telescopic bleachers
for the Community Center Gymnasium from Hussey Seating Company through Southeastern Surfaces
and Equipment, Inc. pursuant to State Term Contract No. 420 - 420 -10 -1 (Educational/Institutional Furniture).
The total amount expended for this purchase shall not exceed $38,652.00, with funds being expended
from Account No. K8028 -66490 (Recreation — Machinery and Equipment).
Section 3. In order to fund this expenditure, the Village Council hereby approves a budget
amendment for the transfer of funds as indicated below:

Section 4. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the budget
amendment for and on behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 5. The Village Council declares the existing Community Center Gymnasium bleachers as
surplus property and authorizes their disposal in accordance with Village policies and procedures.
Section 6. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
