AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FI.OKIDA, AMENDING SUBSECTION (d) OF SECTION 19-210, TERM OF PERMIT; FEE;
NONTRANSFERABLE, OF ARTICLE X, ALARMS, OF CHAPTER 19 OF THE CODE OF
OKDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE, TO INCREASE THE FEE FOR ALARM SYSTEM PERMITS
FROM $10.00 TO $25.00; PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF
ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND, PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE 1T ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA:
Section 1. The Village Council of the Village of North Palm Beach, Florida, does hereby amend
Subsection (d) of Section 19-210, Term of Permit; Fee; Nontransferable, of Article X, Alarms, of Chapter
19 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village and to read as follows:
"Section 19-210. Term of permit; fee; nontransferable.
(d) The alarm system permit shall be issued the alarm user by the director of public
safety prior to the alarm system being placed into service. The fee for this permit istwenty-
five dollars ($25.00) and shall be renewed each calendar year."
Section 2. If any section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this Ordinance is for any
reason held by a Court to be unconstitutional, inoperative or void, such holding shall not affect the
remainder of this Ordinance.
Section 3. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
