AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING
SECTION 2-16 OF ARTICLE II, COUNCIL, OF CHAPTER 2
OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE BY
ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION FOR THE MAYOR AND
INCREASING COMPENSATION OF THE VILLAGE
COUNCIL; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT
HEREWITH; AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
do Section 2-16 of Article II, Council, of Chapter 2 of the Code of
Ordinances of the Village is hereby amended to read as follows:
"Section 2-16. Compensation.
The compensation of all members elected to the Village Council other than
the Mayor is hereby fixed at the sum of $500.00 per month. The
compensation of the Mayor is hereby fixed at the sum of $600.00 per month."
c i All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are
hereby repealed.
e lion 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
