AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE COUNCII. OF THE VII.LAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SUB-SECTION (b) (I) OF SECTION
2-43, POLICY AND PROCEDURES, OF ARTICLE III, ADMINISTRATIVE
CODE, OF CHAPTER TWO OF THE CODE OF ORDINANCES OF THE
VILLAGE RELATING TO RESPONSIBILITY OF DEPARTMENT HEADS;
PROVIDING FOR SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL
ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH;
AND, PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Sub-Section (b) (1) of Section 2-43, Policy and procedures, of Article III,
Administrative Code, of Chapter 2 of the Code of Ordinances of the Village is hereby amended to
read as follows:
• "Section 2-43. Policy and procedures.
(b) Department heads. The heads of departments shall:
(1) Responsibility to Village Manager. The heads of departments including the
Country Club Administrator shall be immediately responsible to the Village
Manager for the effective administration of their respective departments and
all activities assigned thereto, except as provided in section 2-40."
Section 2. If any section, paragraph, sentence, clause, phrase or word of this
Ordinance is for any reason held by a Court to be unconstitutional, inoperative or void, such holding
shall not affect the remainder of this Ordinance.
Section 3. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in conflict herewith are hereby
repealed.
~Clj4it-4. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately upon passage.
