A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF ONE 2013 FORD F150 2WD REGULAR CAB PICK UP
TRUCK FOR USE BY THE COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT
FROM HUB CITY FORD PURSUANT TO THE STATE TERM CONTRACT
FOR THE ACQUISITION OF MOTOR VEHICLES; AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO AMEND THE
CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND BUDGET TO TRANSFER $17,329.00 FROM
THE CAPITAL RESERVE ACCOUNT TO THE CODE ENFORCEMENT
AUTOMOTIVE CAPITAL ACCOUNT TO FUND THE PURCHASE; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Community Development Department is requesting the purchase of one vehicle
as listed on the five year Capital Improvement Plan ( "CIP ") utilizing CIP funds; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration recommends the purchase of one 2013 Ford F150 2WD
Regular Cab pick up truck, fully equipped to Village specifications, pursuant to State Term
Contract No. 071- 000 -13 -1 (Acquisition of Motor Vehicles); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council seeks to amend the current capital projects fund budget to
transfer $17,329.00 from the Capital Reserve Account to the Code Enforcement Automotive
Capital Account to fund the purchase of the vehicle; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of one 2013 Ford F150 2WD
Regular Cab pick up truck, fully equipped to Village specifications, from Hub City Ford
pursuant to State Term Contract No. 071- 000 -13 -1 (Acquisition of Motor Vehicles). The total
amount expended for this vehicle shall not exceed $17,329.00, with funds being expended from
Account No. K6020 -66410 (Code Enforcement Automotive Capital).
Section 3. In order to fund this expenditure, the Village Council hereby approves a budget
amendment for the transfer of funds as indicated below:

Section 4. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
budget amendment for and on behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach.
nSection 5. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
