A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING THE PURCHASE OF A
2013 CLUB CAR CAFE EXPRESS GASOLINE POWERED FOOD AND
BEVERAGE CART PURSUANT TO PRICING ESTABLISHED IN AN
EXISTING CONTRACT BETWEEN CLUB CAR INC. AND THE CITY OF
TUCSON; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE
CLERK TO AMEND THE COUNTRY CLUB BUDGET TO TRANSFER
$14,547.00 FROM THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE CONSTRUCTION AND
MAJOR RENOVATION ACCOUNT TO THE FOOD AND BEVERAGE
AUTOMOTIVE ACCOUNT TO FUND THE PURCHASE; DECLARING THE
EXISTING BEVERAGE CART AS SURPLUS PROPERTY; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Food and Beverage Department has requested replacement of the existing
beverage cart, which is 1000 hours over its life expectancy and in need of numerous repairs; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration recommends the purchase of a 2013 Club Car Cafe Express
Gasoline Powered Food and Beverage Cart pursuant to pricing established in an existing competitively
bid contract between Club Car Inc. and the City of Tucson (Contract No. 084070 -01); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council seeks to amend the Country Club budget to transfer $14,547.00
previously allocated to the Driving Range Building renovation project from the Food and
Beverage Construction and Major Renovation Account to the Food and Beverage Automotive
Account to fund the purchase; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to declare the existing beverage cart as surplus property
and authorize its disposal; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of a 2013 Club Car Cafe
Gasoline Powered Food and Beverage Cart from Club Car Inc. pursuant to pricing established in
an existing contract between Club Car LLC and the City of Tucson (Contract No. 084070 -01).
The total amount expended for the Cart shall not exceed $14,546.40, with funds being expended
from Account No. L8053 -66410 (Food and Beverage — Automotive).
Section 3. In order to fund this expenditure, the Village Council hereby approves a budget

Section 4. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
budget amendment for and on behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 5. The Village Council further declares the existing beverage cart as surplus
property and authorizes its disposal in accordance with Village policies and procedures.
Section 6. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
