RESOLUTION 2013 -30
A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ESTABLISHING AN ADMINISTRATIVE
PROCESSING FEE FOR TEMPORARY SIGN USE PERMITS; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, through the adoption of Ordinance 2013 -09, the Village Council adopted a use
permit procedure for temporary signs relating to the sale or lease of existing on -site commercial
units; and
WHEREAS, Section 6- 114(E)(2)e of the Village Code requires persons wishing to display such
signs to apply for and obtain a use permit from the Community Development Department and to
pay an administrative processing fee established by the Village Council; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to establish the amount of the applicable administrative
processing fee.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby establishes an administrative processing fee of ten
dollars ($10.00) for the issuance of use permits to install, erect or display temporary signs for the
sale or lease of existing on -site commercial units in accordance with Section 6- 114(E)(2)e of the
Village Code of Ordinances.
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
