A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING THE
PURCHASE OF A JACOBSEN GROOM MASTER II BALLFIELD GROOMER
FROM GOLF VENTURES PURSUANT TO THE STATE TERM CONTRACT
FOR THE ACQUISITION OF CONSTRUCTION, INDUSTRIAL, AGRICULTURAL
AND LAWN EQUIPMENT; AUTHORIZING AND DIRECTING THE MAYOR
AND VILLAGE CLERK TO AMEND THE CAPITAL PROJECTS FUND BUDGET
TO TRANSFER $17,352.00 FROM THE CAPITAL RESERVE ACCOUNT TO
THE STREETS AND GROUNDS — MACHINERY AND EQUIPMENT
ACCOUNT TO FUND THE PURCHASE; PROVIDING FOR CONFLICTS;
AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Village Administration is requesting the purchase of a new ballfield groomer to
replace the existing inoperable groomer utilizing Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) Funds; and
WHEREAS, Village Administration recommends the purchase a Jacobsen Groom Master II, and
related equipment, from Golf Ventures pursuant to State Term Contract No. 760 - 000 -10 -1
(Acquisition of Construction, Industrial, Agricultural and Lawn Equipment); and
WHEREAS, the Village Council seeks to amend the current capital projects fund budget to
transfer $17,352.00 from the Capital Reserve Account to the Streets and Grounds — Machinery
and Equipment Account to fund the purchase of the equipment; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the Village and its residents.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the purchase of a Jacobsen Groom Master II
ballfield groomer, including related equipment, from Golf Ventures pursuant to State Term
Contract No. 760 - 000 -10 -1 (Acquisition of Construction, Industrial, Agricultural and Lawn Equipment).
The total amount expended for this equipment shall not exceed $17,352.00, with funds being
expended from Account No. K7321 -66490 (Streets and Grounds — Machinery and Equipment).
Section 3. In order to fund this expenditure, the Village Council hereby approves a budget
amendment for the transfer of funds as indicated below:

Section 4. The Mayor and Village Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to execute the
budget amendment for and on behalf of the Village of North Palm Beach.
Section 5. All resolutions are parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are hereby
repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 6. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
