• A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, DECLARING TWO COUNTRY CLUB
TOW CARTS AS SURPLUS PROPERTY AND AUTHORING THEIR SALE
TO INTERNATIONAL GOLF MAINTENANCE, INC.; AND PROVIDING
FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village is in possession of two tow carts from its 2009 fleet at the North Palm
Beach Country Club which were acquired at no additional cost to the Village; and
WHEREAS, last year, the Village leased two new tow carts from EZGO designed to tow its
current golf cart fleet; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to declare the 2009 tow carts as surplus property and
authorize their sale to International Golf Maintenance, Inc. ("IGM"), the contractor maintaining
the golf course and Country Club grounds; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council has the authority to dispose of surplus items of personal
property in any manner so long as it acts in good faith and in the best interests of the Village; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the sale of the tow carts to IGM is in the best
interests of the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. . The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby approves the sale of the following two surplus tow
carts to International Golf Maintenance, Inc. in an "as is" condition for the total sum of
$5,000.00 ($2,500 for each cart), which represents the fair market value of the carts:
Two EZGO MPT800 tow carts (Serial Numbers 2692551 and 2692548)
Section 3. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
