A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA APPOINTING A RESIDENT MEMBER
TO THE GENERAL EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT BOARD; AND
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, Section 2- 151(a) of the Village Code of Ordinances provides that two members of
the General Employees Retirement Board ( "Board ") shall be Village residents selected by the
Village Council; and
WHEREAS, in 2010, the Village Council appointed Karen Roberts as a resident member of the
Board, and Ms. Roberts' term will expire December 9, 2012; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council wishes to reappoint Karen Roberts as a resident member of the
Board to serve an additional two -year term, through December 9, 2014.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE
OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing "whereas" clauses are hereby ratified and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council hereby reappoints Karen Roberts as a resident member of the
Village's General Employees Retirement Board to serve for a term of two years.
Section 3.
This Resolution shall take effect immediatelv upon adoption.
