ORDINANCE NO. 23-95
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGfi COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM
BEACH, FLORIDA, AMENDING SECTION 45-2, DEFINITIONS, OF ARTICLE I OF
APPENDIX C-ZONING OF THE CODS OF ORDINANCES OF THE VILLAGE TO ADD
A DEFINITION FOR ADULT ENTERTAINMENT; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF
ALL ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND,
PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 45-2, Definitions, of Article I of
Appendix C-Zoning of the Code of Ordinances of the Village is
hereby amended to add a definition for Adult Entertainment and to
read as follows:
~~Adult Entertainment. Adult Entertainment means any
adult arcade, adult theater, adult booth, adult bookstore/adult
video store, adult motel or adult dancing establishment as defined
in Ordinance No. 88-31, Palm Beach County Adult Entertainment Code;
or any establishment or business operated for commercial gain where
any employee, operator or owner exposes his/her specified
anatomical area for viewing by patrons, including but not limited
to: massage establishments whether or not licensed pursuant to
chapter 480, Florida Statutes, tanning salon, modeling studio, or
lingerie studio~~
' Section 2. All Ordinances or parts of Ordinances in
conflict herewith are hereby repealed.
Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately
upon passage.
