A RESOLUTION OF THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH
PALM BEACH, FLORIDA, ACCEPTING THE PROPOSAL SUBMITTED BY
INTERNATIONAL GOLF MAINTENANCE, INC. FOR GOLF COURSE
MAINTENANCE SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE NEGOTIATION OF A
CONTRACT WITH INTERNATIONAL GOLF MAINTENANCE, INC.
RELATING TO SUCH SERVICES; AUTHORIZING NEGOTIATION OF A
CONTRACT WITH VALLEY CREST GOLF MAINTENANCE SERVICES, INC.
IN THE EVENT NEGOTIATIONS WITH INTERNATIONAL GOLF
MAINTENANCE SERVICES, INC. ARE UNSUCCESSFUL; PROVIDING FOR
CONFLICTS; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, on July 25, 2012, the Village advertised a Request for Proposals for Golf Course
Maintenance Services ("RFP"); and
WHEREAS, the Village received five proposals in response to the RFP, four of which met the
minimum criteria set forth in the RFP; and
WHEREAS, members of Village Administration independently evaluated and rated the proposals in
accordance with the criteria set forth in the RFP and based on such evaluation, Village Administration
recommends accepting the proposal submitted International Golf Maintenance, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council determines that the adoption of this Resolution is in the best
interests of the residents and citizens of the Village of North Palm Beach.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF
NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA as follows:
Section 1. The foregoing recitals are ratified as true and incorporated herein.
Section 2. The Village Council accepts the proposal from International Golf Maintenance, Inc.
to provide golf course maintenance services for the Village for a period of three years commencing
October 1, 2012 at a total annual cost not to exceed $1,067,719.00. The Village Council further
authorizes Village Administration to negotiate a contract with International Golf Maintenance, Inc.
relating to such services in accordance with the terms and conditions set forth in the RFP and the
submitted proposal.
Section 3. Notwithstanding Section 2 above, in the event negotiations with International Golf
Maintenance, Inc. are unsuccessful, the Village Council further authorizes Village Administration
to terminate such negotiations and negotiate a contract with Valley Crest Golf Course Maintenance,
Inc. at a total annual cost not to exceed $1,110.088.00 in accordance with the terms and conditions
of the RFP and the submitted proposal.

Section 4. All resolutions or parts of resolutions in conflict with this Resolution are hereby
• repealed to the extent of such conflict.
Section 5. This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
