Members of the public who wish to speak on any item listed on the Regular Session or Workshop Session Time Limit: 3 minutes Agenda will be called on when the issue comes up for discussion. Anyone wishing to speak should complete a Public Comment Card (on the table at back of Council Chambers) and submit it to the Village Clerk prior to the beginning of the meeting. B. DECLARATION OF EX PARTE COMMUNICATIONS C. PUBLIC HEARINGS AND QUASI-JUDICIAL MATTERS PUBLIC HEARING AND SECOND READING OF ORDINANCE 2012-08 SIMULATED 1. GAMBLING DEVICES Consider a motion to adopt and enact on second reading Ordinance 2012-08, a proposed ordinance amending Chapter 17 of the Village Code of Ordinances to prohibit the use of simulated gambling devices within the Village. ACTION Regular Session Agenda, August 9, 2012 Page 2 of 2 D. CONSENT AGENDA The Consent Agenda is for the purpose of expediting issues of a routine or pro-forma nature. Councilmen may remove any item from the Consent Agenda, which would automatically convey that item to the Regular Agenda for separate discussion and vote. 1. Receive for file Minutes of the Waterways Board meeting held 7/24/12 Recommendations regarding residential fueling of marine craft: see Minutes E. OTHER VILLAGE BUSINESS MATTERS RESOLUTION – CIGNA INSURANCE PROPOSAL 1. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution accepting the proposal submitted by Cigna to provide health, dental, and other insurance policies to Village employees; and authorizing Village Administration to take all actions necessary to implement these insurance policies and to cancel policies currently in effect as of 10/1/12. ACTION RESOLUTION – PARTICIPATION IN FLORIDA PRIME 2. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution authorizing participation in the Local Government Surplus Funds Trust Fund (Florida Prime) and execution of the Florida PRIME Disclosure Statement. ACTION RESOLUTION – EMS TRANSPORTATION FEES 3. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution increasing the fees charged for emergency medical transport services provided by the Fire Rescue Department. ACTION RESOLUTION – ALLOCATION OF $12.50 FUNDS TO MUNICIPALITIES 4. Consider a motion to adopt a proposed resolution supporting the County’s continued allocation of $12.50 Funds to the municipalities pursuant to Palm Beach County Resolution R2002-0192. ACTION F. This agenda represents the tentative agenda for the scheduled meeting of the Village Council.
