ORDINANCE N0. 14-93
AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF NORTH PALM BEACH, FLORIDA,
AMENDING SECTION 19-208 OF ORDINANCE NO. 11-93, ALARMS, TO PROVIDE
THAT ALARM SYSTEM PERMITS SHALL FIRST ISSUE FOR THE PERIOD FROM
AUGUST 1, 1.993, TO JANUARY 1, 1995, AND ON AN ANNUAL BASIS
THEREAFTER; PROVIDING FOR THE REPEAL OF ALL. ORDINANCES OR PARTS OF
ORDINANCES IN CONFLICT HEREWITH; AND, FROVIDINC, FOR AN EFFF.CTIVF..

RE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIJ, OF NORTH PALM BEACH,
FLORIDA:
Section 1. Section 19-208 of Ordinance No. 11-93, Alarms, is
hereby amended t.o read as follows:
' "Sec. 19-208. Alarm system permit required.
(a) No person shall have an alarm system installed t.o be
operational, or use an existing alarm serving a premises or a
building, or portion thereof, occupied or controlled by such a
person, unless an alarm permit has been issued hereunder, and is: in
force, authorizing the use of such alarm. The alarm permit. shall
constitute a regulatory license. Far any alarm system existing
prior to the effective date of the ordinance from which this
article derived, an alarm permit application shall be made within
sixty (60) days from notification by the Village t.o the alarm user.
Alarm system permits shall first issue f:or the period from August
1, 1993, to January 1, 1995, and on an annual basis t.hereafter."

Section 2. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict.
herewith are hereby repealed.
Section_3_. This Ordinance shall take effect immediately anon
passage.
